Welcome to InCoCreMo

Inspired by NaNoWriMo, InCoCreMo is an attempt to create a language in a month! Obviously, creating an entire language in a month is impossible, so we settled for the easier goal of creating a language capable of translating a reasonably large text — that of the first 3 pages of The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien. Those who require the text can comment to receive it. If you are a WordPress.com user, you can be added to the blog so you can post about and discuss your conlang during its creation process. To become a user, register at wordpress.com, and comment with your WordPress.com username requesting to be added.

If you’re in Firefox, click on the image. If you’re in IE, move the mouse out of the image, and then back over it. Wait a second and click the button in the bottom right of the image.

Hi. We have a small group of people making a combined effort. We started a bit late, so we’re running a bit behind. Also, none of us (as far as I know) has any experience with conlang making. Progress on our forums in this thread
